Register for ServSafe® Food Safety Certification Class to be held November 27th in Rockwell City

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Calhoun County will be hosting a ServSafe® food safety certification class in Rockwell City on November 27th, 2018 from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Ann Heuer, Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, will be teaching the class.
 
This class will prepare individuals to become a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), a requirement for food establishments in Iowa. The ServSafe® program blends information from the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience and is administered through the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
 
This class will be held at the Calhoun County Extension Office in Rockwell City. Registration is due three weeks before the class date- by November 6th. Do not hesitate to register. Registration is now done online and cost for the training is $150. You may receive a discounted registration of $85 by entering promo code CALHOUN at checkout. However, if promo code is not entered, discount will not be applied or reimbursed.
