Growing Strong Families

Calling all Page County Families with children 5 and under! We have a program just for you! 

Highly trained and Certified Parent Educators provide knowledge and resources to families in the Page County area. The services are free to families funded through a grant and any resident of Page County with one child age 0-5 (until their 6th birthday) OR an expectant mother can recieve services.   Call Mary Auten at 712-542-5171 or email her at auten@iastate.edu for more information.

National 4-H Week is October 7-13! 

What fun activities does your club have planned? 

 

Now is the time to join 4-H or Clover Kids!

Invite your friends to join the adventure! Ask them to come to a meeting with you or have them call us for details! Clover kids is for children kinder - 3rd and 4-H is for 4th and above. There is so much to do in 4-H- everyone should check it out!!

 

Record books are due Sept 15th! Check with your leader for details.

    Every June, almost 900 teenagers converge on the campus of Iowa State University for 3 days full of speakers, workshops, mixers, dances, a banquet, and community service activities. 

  • Youth and teens can discover opportunities to be recognized for personal growth, project learning, leadership and citizenship. 

  • Clover Kids is a FUN 4-H program for children in kindergarten through third grade. Children participate in hands-on activities designed to build many life skills!

  • 4-H Equation

    Addresses youths’ basic needs through the eight essential elements: caring adults, safe environments, inclusive settings, and opportunities for mastery, service, self-determination, planning for the future and engaged learning.

  • Provides financial resources to develop and deliver quality 4-H youth programs and opportunities throughout the state of Iowa.
