Participants will receive required training for certification on safety, regulations, nutrient value, and economics of manure management. Commercial Manure Applicator Reshows
COMMERCIAL MANURE training DVD reshows will be done on the second Tuesday of each month starting March 15, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. Applicators are required to call ahead to make an appointment at least one day before the reshow date. If no one calls to schedule an appointment, the DVD will not be shown. Please call before to confirm a reshow will be held.
In the event that a conflict arises with this time and date, such as other Extension programs, there will not be a reshow that month.
There is no charge for attending the workshops or viewing the DVD on the scheduled reshow date and time at the ISU Extension and Outreach Osceola County Office. However, applicators requesting to view the DVD on dates not scheduled for a reshow at our office will be charged a fee of $10 per person.

On-line Manure Applicator Certification
Commercial and confinement manure applicators now have another option - online certification - which allows an applicator to take their training online at DNR MAC eLearning site. The applicator will need to sign-in and get an account (instructions listed on the site).
Once the applicator has successfully done all the modules, they will be instructed on how to obtain their certificate and to pay for their certification.
Each applicator wanting to receive their instruction this way will need a computer. Only one person will get credit, so if more than one person “watches” the program, the person who signed in will get certified.
