Northwest Iowa Summer Camps and Clover Crates

In an effort to continue summer camps while also following guidance for social distancing, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach youth staff in Northwest Iowa have created Clover Crates.

About Clover Crates:

These crates will enable youth to participate in the camp activities from home and in some cases virtually, during the time period of June 1 through June 16. A few days before the camp, our staff will contact you with information about picking up the Clover Crate. Inside of the Clover Crate, we will pack the camp activities with directions and information about connecting with our summer educators virtually from your home.

At this time, Clover Crates are planned through June 16. In mid-June, staff will reevaluate and make plans for the remaining June through August summer camps. We do hope to be able to offer some camps in-person this summer but will follow guidance from the Governor and Iowa State University. Please note, if you register for a 2020 summer camp and our office has to cancel it, you will be reimbursed in full.

Registering for Clover Crates: Sign-up for Clover Crates and/or future Summer Camps online at nwiasummercamps.fairentry.com or by contacting your local ISU Extension and Outreach office. Please note that each Clover Crate has a registration deadline 4 days prior to the camp date. This deadline will give our summer educators time to pack the Clover Crate with supplies and bring them to our office for pick-up by families.
