2019-20 O'Brien County Clover Kids - For Youth in 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade

Clover Kids is a fun youth program designed for children in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. The program focuses on inquiry-based hands-on learning. Participants take part in activities, games and other experiences to explore the areas of science, technology, engineering, math, healthy living, personal development and expressive arts, all while gaining valuable social skills.

The primary goal of the program is to promote children's healthy development - mentally, physically, socially and emotionally. Youth have fun exploring the world through a do-reflect-apply experiential education approach to learning that encourages cooperation, creativity, discovery and a deeper understanding of the topic at hand.

During 2019-20, O'Brien County Clover Kids will meet once a month from October to April, immediately after school at HMS Elementary, South O'Brien Elementary St. Patrick's Sheldon and Zion St. John's Paullina. Each location is limited to the first 20 youth registered. Registration for the year is $25, payable online. (Please note financial assistance is available. Call the ISU Extension and Outreach O'Brien County office at 712-957-5045 for more information.)
