Farm to School Month a Great Time to Teach Kids About Healthy Food

Helping children make healthier food choices is the goal of farm to school programming nationwide. Since 2007, 30 schools in Iowa have formed farm to school chapters, and others participate in related activities throughout the year, such as the Great Apple Crunch in October or after school snack programs.
