Cindy Hall has accepted the position of regional director with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach serving Wapello, Jefferson, Davis and Van Buren counties in southeast Iowa. She begins the position May 17.
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week is April 12-17. Iowa’s 100 county extension offices will host activities throughout the week to thank Iowans for their support of extension efforts throughout the state.

The publications are appropriate for organizations that are beginning their accessibility journey and are available to download for free from the Extension Store.
Brenda Allen has been selected as the manager of the professional development unit for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach effective Nov. 23.
After an internal search, Carol Heaverlo has been selected as the director of extension operations with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach effective Sept. 8. Heaverlo will provide leadership to ISU Extension and Outreach support units and strengthen ties to program units and county services.

Some offices already are fully open to the public, some are open by appointment only and others are preparing to reopen. Iowans should contact their county office for information about local reopening plans.
Iowa State University President Wendy Wintersteen has been selected to receive the 2020 National Ruby Award from Epsilon Sigma Phi, the national honor society for extension professionals.
