Iowans are beginning to discover their connections to Iowa’s Land Grant Legacy. They’ll have the opportunity to celebrate and share their stories during Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week, April 17-22. Iowa’s 100 county extension and outreach offices will host activities throughout the week sharing the legacy and demonstrating how ISU Extension and Outreach is building a strong Iowa.
Andrea Nelson has been named assistant vice president for county services with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach effective Dec. 9. She has been serving as the interim assistant vice president for county services since July 1.
UPDATED: Most Iowa State University Extension and Outreach events throughout the state through May 9 have been canceled. When possible, some activities may be conducted virtually using video or teleconferencing. For information on specific events, please contact your ISU Extension and Outreach county office. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week is April 13-18. Although this year’s celebration will take place virtually given the COVID-19 pandemic, Iowa’s 100 county extension offices will be thanking Iowans for their support of extension efforts throughout the state to build a strong Iowa.
Most Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in-person events throughout the state through May 31 have been canceled. However, ISU Extension and Outreach remains committed to serving Iowans during the COVID-19 pandemic. For information on specific events, please contact your ISU Extension and Outreach county office. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, the Iowa Department of Public Health and University of Iowa are partnering to host information sessions about the COVID-19 vaccine April 17, 19 and 24. There is no fee or registration required and the sessions are open to all.
