This initiative, led by Lindsay Henderson, a community and economic development specialist with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, aims to bolster the Iowa economy by enabling local organizations to access additional funding sources.

“Our workshop is designed to make grant writing accessible and achievable for all participants, regardless of their experience level. You’ll leave knowing how to identify funding sources, develop compelling project plans and craft standout grant applications,” said Henderson.

The Hiawatha session is March 27, 1-4 p.m., and is available virtually or in person. Registration is available at https://go.iastate.edu/P9SFIA. The fee is $25 and the registration deadline is March 26.
