“When we design for all, we increase our chances of justice for all. That is the driving force behind ISU Extension and Outreach’s eAccessibility initiative and the reason we developed these eCourses,” said Tendall, digital properties manager.

“ISU Extension and Outreach started this initiative to bring our own resources into compliance with digital accessibility rules, regulations and best practices. That work continues, and now we’re able to share what we’ve learned with a broader audience,” added Elmore.

ISU Extension and Outreach also has publications covering digital accessibility language, standards, laws, and sustainable business models. The publications are appropriate for organizations that are beginning their accessibility journey and are available to download for free from the Extension Store, said Tendall.
