AMES, Iowa ― Current Iowa State University Extension and Outreach beef specialist Chris Clark has changed regions and will now work with producers in south-central Iowa.
Clark will be housed in the ISU Extension and Outreach Lucas County office and will be responsible for programming and education in Hardin, Boone, Story, Marshall, Dallas, Polk, Madison, Warren, Union, Clarke, Lucas, Monroe, Ringgold, Decatur, Wayne, Appanoose and Davis counties.
“Chris has proven to be an exceptional field specialist while working with the beef industry in southwest Iowa,” said Dan Loy, director of the Iowa Beef Center and extension beef specialist at Iowa State. “As a veterinarian, he can bring an animal health and welfare perspective to the challenges of beef producers in southern Iowa.”
Clark’s move fills an open position created by the retirement of Joe Sellers. Clark’s previous territory in southwest Iowa will be covered by Erika Lundy.
