Cedar County PQA Plus Training Session for Producers Planned View Edit Track

TIPTON, Iowa -- The Iowa Pork Industry Center and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will hold a training for pork producers and others who need Pork Quality Assurance Plus certification. The certification session is Feb. 16 at the Cedar County Extension Office, 107 Cedar Street, Tipton.

Tom Miller, ISU Extension and Outreach swine specialist, will teach the session.

The PQA Plus session will begin at 1:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend should preregister by contacting the Cedar County Extension Office at 563-886-6157. Cost for the certification program is $25 per person and is payable at the door.
