Mason City, Iowa—Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and County Conservation Boards in Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Franklin, Mitchell and Worth Counties in coordination with ISU Wildlife Extension, and the Iowa DNR is pleased to offer the newly revitalized Iowa Master Conservationist Program in the North Iowa Area this summer.

Mitchell County 4-H and area FFA members wishing to exhibit livestock at the Mitchell County Fair this summer must fill out the appropriate livestock ID information by May 15.
4-H members must complete identification forms through 4hOnline for breeding swine; breeding beef; breeding meat goat and sheep; horse; dog; dairy cattle and dairy goats before midnight, May 15.   4-H bucket calf and prospect calf information are due through 4hOnline FairEntry by July 1.  Rabbits must only be id’ed if exhibiting at the Iowa State Fair.
FFA members need to pick up forms from Ag Advisors or from the Mitchell County Extension office.  Forms need to be returned to the Mitchell County Extension Office by 4:30 p.m., May 9, 2018. 

All 4-H swine, sheep, beef, dairy, goat, rabbit, poultry, and bucket calf exhibitors must be YQCA (Youth for the Quality Care of Animals) certified by July 1. Certification can be obtained by completing a course online at: https://yqca.learngrow.io/Account/Login Members will need to create a YQCA account using their 4hOnline account.  FFA certification is to be done through Ag Advisors.
