If you are short on space, looking for a seed-starting method with less plastic waste, or simply want to learn a new skill, this class is for you! Master Gardener Gretchen will cover the basic requirements of seed starting, what is required for soil block seed starting mix, and discuss the tools and equipment required for seed starting. Class will wrap up with a hands-on soil blocking demonstration and the opportunity to take home some of your very own blocks. A small selection of seeds will be provided. If you wish to bring something specific, the seeds should be varieties that need to be started 10 weeks before the last frost.
Registration is appreciated. Free and open to the public.
