Portable and Accessible Gardening March 6, 2018 6-8 p.m.
It is important to consider our own physical health when designing garden spaces. Director Ed Lyon will discuss trends in low-impact gardening, from creating portable (movable) gardens, to raised beds for accessibility, and limited space gardening. Preregistration with prepayment is required by Sunday, March 4.

What does it mean to practice “sustainable gardening”? What is the background behind the native versus ornamental debate? What are the best ways to handle pests and diseases without affecting human, animal and plant health? Director Ed Lyon will discuss responsible methods of gardening to reduce our impact on the earth.
