Each participant gets two apple rootstock (EMLA7 free standing semi-dwarf) which they self-graft and take home with them. If they want to bring in some of their own scion wood that is fine as well. Ideally it should be harvested before third week of March. It should be new growth from previous year and be somewhere close to pencil thickness in diameter. For more detail see: http://msue.anr.msu.edu/news/selecting_and_storing_scion_wood_for_grafting
Fee structure is $35 per person or $60 for couple ($30 for any two or more registering together and includes 2 rootstock for each person). Additional rootstock will be available for a cost of $5 each.
