Tychonievich is the author of Plant Breeding for the Home Gardener, The Complete Guide to Gardeners, and Rock Gardening: Reimagining a Classic Style and is the editor of the North American Rock.

Run for the Trees

The Arbor Day celebration of trees starts at 9am and is free to the public. There will be a variety of activities including tree climbing, guided by Iowa Arborist Association members. Get to Know you Succulents Class will be offered from 1-2pm.
This is a class to learn how to care for the succulents and about the Iowa Arboretum. Feel free to bring anything you want to plant your own succulent- if not, we have you covered! This event is sponsored by Salama Greenhouse. $5 per person.
