Cedar Falls - Starting in Mid-April and running through May 18th, local Master Gardeners and growing experts will be presenting live classes on a variety of gardening and growing topics. In most cases, the same topic will be covered at both libraries on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the same week. This will allow more people access to the information and a greater chance for people to attend a class they may have missed.

These classes are FREE and open to the public. There is no pre-registration and the public may attend as many or few classes as they wish as these class topics are presented as individual units. Doors open at 6:45 each night with the classes starting at 7pm and running for about 1 hour with time for questions and answers afterward.

Come join the Tama County Master Gardeners and learn how to make a beautiful Winter Container Garden. Bring your own container filled with sand or dirt and any purchased pieces you would like to add to you container. Ribbon and natural materials including evergreen and pine cones will be provided. Master Gardeners will teach you how to put it all together creating a beautiful arrangement for your front step/porch. Please register at the Extension Office by 12-6-19. 641-484-2703.
