Flower Farming Field Day - Oskaloosa

Join Practical Farmers of Iowa and local flower farmer Meredith Nunnikhoven of Barnswallow Flowers and Produce for a field day in Oskaloosa all about flower farming.

Topics will include outdoor growing, diversified species, sucession planting, pinching, staking and labeling dahlias, cut-and-come-again flowers, and iowa-hardy varieties. Learn from Meredith about her chemical-free flower farming practices and how to diversify revenue streams on a family farm.
