Madison County Extension Now Accepting Registrations for Youth Summer Daycamps

Every child wants to end the summer by saying, " I had the best summer ever!" To help make that dream a reality, Madison County 4-H has put together several exciting day camps and is now accepting registrations. The goal of these camps is to engage the youth and give them a fun and safe place to explore the world around them.

"Camp is all about meeting new friends and allowing youth the opportunity to discover their full potential, and Madison County's 4-H day camps are a wonderful way to ensure that youth get that chance," says Lindsey Young, County Youth Coordinator, Madison County Extension and Outreach.

The Extension office will be working with several community partners to ensure youth from all over Madison County have the opportunity to access camps near them. Scholarships are also available to those in need of assistance.  Program details and registration can be found on the Madison County 4-H webpage - Youth Programs | Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Madison County (iastate.edu) Youth do not have to be a member of Madison County 4-H to attend the camps or apply for a scholarship. For more information on summer day camps, contact the Madison County Extension office at 515-462-1001.
