Club Mini Grants

Club Mini Grants are available for all Louisa County 4-H and Clover Kids clubs thanks to the support from the Louisa County 4-H Foundation. This Club Mini Grant can be applied for anytime during the “club” year – October 1st through September 30th. These club mini grants are worth up to $200 each year!

The mini grants are to be used for community service projects or educational programs for the club. Examples include planting a pollinator garden, cleaning a county road and having a pizza party afterward, shopping for items for an Angel Tree, going to the Putnam Museum in Davenport, etc. Funds can be used for food only when it is used in conjunction with the community service project or educational program.

The application must be turned in to the Extension Office for the request to be considered. After approved by the 4-H Foundation, money will be deposited directly into the club account. The grant must be approved by the Louisa County 4-H Foundation before funds are used for the project. This grant should not be used as a reimbursement!

After completing the community service project or educational program, a final report and photos must be turned in. This must be completed to be considered for the next year’s funding.

If your club receives funds in 2019-2020, you must turn in a final report and photos in order to be considered for this year’s funding.
