Club Mini Grants

Club Mini Grants are available for all Louisa County 4-H and Clover Kids clubs thanks to the support from the Louisa County 4-H Foundation. This Club Mini Grant can be applied for anytime. These club mini grants are worth up to $200 each!

The mini grants are to be used for community service projects or educational programs for the club. Examples include planting a pollinator garden, cleaning a county road and having a pizza party afterward, shopping for items for an Angel Tree, going to the Putnam Museum in Davenport, etc. Funds can be used for food only when it is used in conjunction with the community service project or educational program.

The application must be turned in to the Extension Office for the request to be considered. After approved by the 4-H Foundation, money will be deposited directly into the club account.
The Louisa 4-H Foundation will consider multiple applications each year, but it is not guaranteed to receive funds for multiple projects.

After completing the community service project or educational program, a final report and photos must be turned in. This must be completed to be considered for future mini grant funding.

Questions? Want to turn in your application? Contact Ashley at milder@iastate.edu or 319-523-2371.

Financial Assistance

The Louisa 4-H Foundation offers financial aid for youth needing assistance to attend 4-H and/or Extension camps, events, and activities. Applications for assistance may be submitted at anytime and will be evaluated on a rolling basis. Applicants should return their form to the Louisa County Extension office for submission to the Louisa 4-H Foundation.

The Louisa 4-H Foundation does not guarantee the full requested amount to be granted. Financial assistance is available depending on the need of the youth and the Louisa 4-H Foundation's financial ability.

Louisa 4-H Foundation Financial Aid Request Application

The Iowa 4-H Foundation is committed to ensuring that financial need is not a barrier to participation in the Iowa 4-H Program or Iowa 4-H events. The Iowa 4-H Foundation has a limited amount of funding available for financial assistance. These funds will be distributed among as many different individuals as feasible.

Scholarships

Scholarships will be added as the office becomes aware of them. Scholarships on this page are not all limited to 4-H'ers, though criteria may be needed for individual scholarships. For more information, go to the links provided.

Don't forget to check your school's guidance pages for scholarships offered directly through the school. You can also look at the scholarships listed on the local area schools to see if there are any that are not listed here or through your school to see if you are qualified for more.
