Connect. Grow. Share A Row.

Do you have an abundance of vegetables in your garden?  There is an opportunity for you to share that wealth of fresh produce with others in the community!

Join the CONNECT, GROW, SHARE A ROW project, a partnership of Linn County Master Gardeners and the HACAP Food Reservoir.  This project addresses food insecurity by increasing the amount of fresh produce donated to local food pantries for delivery to families throughout our community.

You are invited to an informational meeting on Monday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Linn County Extension & Outreach office at 383 Collins Rd., NE, Cedar Rapids, IA to learn more about our grant and the donation opportunity.  At this meeting you will meet other gardeners also donating produce, receive a CONNECT, GROW, SHARE A ROW identification card, instructions for donating to HACAP, some food safety training tips, and receive a gift as our THANK YOU for participating.

Please RSVP to the Master Gardener Coordinator, Kristen Peyton, at kmpeyton@iastate.edu to assist us in the planning process.  If you are unable to attend the informational meeting, but would like to participate in the project, please send an email to kmpeyton@iastate.edu for more information.
