Even though a new 4-H year is underway, we don’t want you to forget your success of last year. As a 4-H member there are opportunities for you to apply for Project Awards and Outstanding Project Awards. This year, the major awards (Danforth, Citizenship, Leadership, Outstanding Member) will be awarded based on the nominations of your club leaders.

In order to be considered to receive an award you must fill out your application completely. It is strongly encouraged that you include a written or typed summary of your project with the application. No one will be considered for an Outstanding Project Award without support materials. Your summary should include 1.)What did you do? 2.) What were your goals? 3.) What did you expect to learn? 4.) What did you learn? 5.) How can you apply what you learned? Lastly, if you kept records for your project (photos can be records) you should include them with your summary.

All award application deadlines will be October 1st by 12:00 PM. Awards Banquet is November 7th at the Houghton K of C Hall. If you have ideas or suggestions for banquet don’t hesitate to let us know!
