Iowa State University Extension and Outreach – Kossuth County, Care Connections of Northern Iowa, and the Eyerly Ball Mobile Crisis Response Team are teaming up to offer “Question. Persuade. Refer” (QPR) training for ag professionals and other concerned citizens in Kossuth County and the surrounding area.

The Iowa Beef Center and Iowa State University Extension are cooperating with the Iowa Beef Industry Council to help educate producers in Beef Quality Assurance program.  A training and certification session will be held on Wed. June 30 from 6-9 pm at Algona Livestock 2220 Hwy 69 N in Algona.  Kossuth County cattlemen will serve hamburgers for attendees at 6 pm followed by the BQA program.  Please RSVP for the meal by contacting Algona Livestock at 515-295-7273.
