Private Pesticide Applicator Certification
December 5, 2019

Private pesticide applicator training will be held Tuesday, February 26th, at the Keokuk County Extension Office on the fairgrounds. There will be two trainings in Sigourney. The first will be held at 1:30pm-3:30pm and a second 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The fee for this program is $20.00.

Farm Bill: Securing our future

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is partnering with the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) to conduct Farm Bill: ARC/PLC & Farm Financial Decisions meetings statewide this fall and winter. Sigourney is one of the meeting sites where producers and landlords can learn about the program election/enrollment process regarding the Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) and/or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) commodity crop programs.
