Objective

Warren County Extension and Outreach has two Summer Assistant positions open for summer 2024 from mid-May to mid-August. Will work 32-40 hours per week. Additional hours may be needed during the Warren County Fair.

Responsibilities

The Warren County Extension Summer Assistant will assist and lead summer programming efforts for youth grades K-12 and assist with the Warren County Fair. 

Must be reliable, detail-oriented, problem-solver, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team of staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

One or more years of college by May 2024

Licensed driver and access to reliable transportation

Computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint)

Successful completion of a background screen 

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the 4-H Program

Experience working with or managing volunteers
