Objective

To assist the county youth coordinator and office assistant with the planning, preparation, execution, and wrap up of the Osceola County Fair 4-H programs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with FairEntry software management, checking in of animals, organizing livestock shows and classes, premium allotment, and ribbon auction.
  • Work with adult volunteers and youth of all ages.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of FairEntry and basic computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Team player and people oriented.
  • Evidence of strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work the entirety of the Osceola County Fair.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience attending the Osceola County Fair.
  • Experience as a 4-H member or parent.
Additional Information

Employment will be from approximately June 24 -August 2, 2024.

Full-time, 32-40 hours per week. Note that July 15-20 will require more hours of work, including evenings and possible weekends, due to the Osceola County Fair.

Starting pay $14.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications and education.
