  • Assist in delivering STEM Camp summer programming as needed.
  • Manage conflict between children and discipline as needed.
  • Aid in preparation for 2024 fair activities including Ag Olympics and Kids Day
  • Accurately enter county fair data into provided excel spreadsheets.
  • Assist with 4-H County Council activities.
  • Contribute to written external communications materials including newsletters, press releases, and social media.
  • Answer office phone and assist walk-in clientele as needed.
  • Assist at Farmers Market Booths.
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of other ISUEO of Lee County programs.

  • 16 or older
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable and prompt
  • Interest in working with children and knowledge of child development
  • Pleasant personality, eagerness to work with children
  • Pleasant personality and customer service skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Pass a background check
  • Experience in leadership positions associated with youth development programs
  • Capable of working independently with limited supervision
  • Computer literacy required (MS Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, and fluent with e-mail programs)
  • Organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and ability to achieve deadlines
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on office needs
  • Experience in managing groups of 15-20 youth
