Objective

ISU Extension and Outreach 4-H Summer Coordinator is a temporary summer position.  Starting on or around May 13th to July 12th, 2024, approximately 400 hours.

Responsibilities

1. A ten week position to work with the 4-H Program of Benton County Extension and Outreach.

2. Duties include but not limited to: planning, teaching, supervising and evaluating youth events.

3. Attend in-service training meetings and events when necessary.

4. Submit records of program participation, program evaluation, wage and mileage reports, as required by supervisor.

5. Assist with other related tasks as directed by County Extension and Outreach Staff.

6. Some night and weekend events: camps, meetings, fair related projects, etc. 

Qualifications

1. Currently attending college and must have completed at least one year.

2. 4-H experience or other experience working with youth.

3. Must have a valid driver’s license and available transportation.

4. Must have good computer skills, including experience in Word, Excel, etc. and the ability to communicate effectively with youth, Adults and Extension professionals.

5. Attitude of Teamwork
