Jefferson County Extension and Outreach Seeking Motivated and Innovative County Youth Coordinator
 
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Jefferson County is seeking an individual that is energetic, creative and motivated to maintain and grow the 4-H program in Jefferson County. Skills needed: facilitative and organizational, written and verbal communication, computer, conflict management and resolution, networking, cultural competence and ability to work well with a team. Individual should be a self-starter, critical thinker, problem solver and decision maker. High school degree required, post-secondary degree preferred. Must have experience with volunteer development and positive youth development. Knowledge and experience with 4-H is preferred. Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to lift 40 pounds. Full-time, 40-hour/week position and requires a flexible schedule with weekend and evening work. Hourly wage based on experience and education. Benefits include IPERS and paid time off. Employment contingent on successful screening in Child Protection Safety Program.
