One of the recommendations as we adopt better security practices is that we share sensitive documents through CyBox rather than as email attachments
It's always been important not to share passwords, but as we store more and more university and county (and personal) business on line it becomes paramount. There are many many ways to share information--file sharing in CyBox, your county shared drive, copying appropriate people on emails, but sharing your password should never be one of them.
We've recently made a few changes in how shared drives are setup and how files are stored. Much of the change has happened behind the scenes but it might be helpful to review where items are stored and what their uses are.
Cybox (iastate.app.box.com) is Iowa State University's implementation of Box.com's cloud storage. If you've used Dropbox or Google Drive or other online file storage services to store and share files between different devices or different people then you're familiar with the principles of Cybox.
