A face-to-face content editor training opportunity will be available on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 from 9am-3pm at the Extension 4-H Building, Room 1020 in Ames. This will be a workshop day with Q&A.
This course is for content editors of Extension and Outreach websites that have already completed the Beginner/Intermediate Course. The training will be of a more advanced nature and will cover some of the more advanced website features that are only available with additional permissions. Participants can also bring questions or issues to the course for one-on-one help. If you still have lingering questions about how to accomplish a task on your website, this is a perfect opportunity for you to get an answer to those questions.
- Kristi Elmore, ISU Extension and Outreach IT will provide hands-on training for editing websites and completing complicated and advanced tasks.
- There will be time for questions and answers as well.
Please check back for additional presenter information.
- Participants are required to bring laptops for hands on training, you might also want to bring extension cords for your computers.
- Participants must already have completed the Beginner/Intermediate required training.
Because of the nature of this course, the number of participants will be limited to 25. This will be the last face-to-face training opportunity in 2018. More training dates may be announced for 2019.
Professional Development has agreed to cover the cost of the workshop, participants are responsible for their own travel expenses. Lunch will be provided as well, since it will be a working lunch.
