Changing Your Net-ID

To change your Net-ID password, you'll need access to the network.

  1. Log into
  2. Click the Manage Net-ID link
  3. Click the Change Net-ID link
  4. Enter the new Net-ID in the box and click Submit Request to save

Once your Net-ID has been changed, any mail sent to the old Net-ID will be forwarded for one year. No one will be notified that you have changed your Net-ID, so you should inform others of your change. (i.e. contact for PSEP, and MyExtension permissions, contact for Extension Store, contact your regional director or program site owner for website permissions etc.)

Changing your Net-ID is typically used if you have recently been married. You are only allowed to change your Net-ID once every 365 days.
