We will be updating our Adobe Connect server on May 11th through the 13th. We have notified those who have host accounts on the system but wanted staff to know how we are proceeding with Web Conferencing for ISU Extension and Outreach. Each county office was provided with an Adobe Connect host account many years ago and each account has a contact person associated with the account, those hosts have been notified in a previous email. What does this mean for you?
- The Adobe Connect server will be down May 11-13th.
- We will be upgrading to a new server and to Adobe Connect 9.5 (from Adobe Connect 8.2)
- During the transition between servers meeting rooms and recordings will not be available. You may get some questions from those who are trying to access recordings.
- We will be doing several types of training for Adobe Connect 9.5. The first training will be for current host users and outline the changes in Adobe Connect 9.5. We will also be announcing a series of trainings for those who have not used our web conferencing tool and would like to know more about it and how to use it.
We are excited to move to the updated platform and the new features.
