Healthy and Homemade Series

If you are looking for ideas on how to eat healthy and make the most of the time you spend in the kitchen, this workshop series is for you! Join Ann Parker, ISU Extension and Outreach Human Sciences Specialist in Nutrition and Wellness for a three-part series scheduled for October 1st, 8th, and 22nd from 6:00-700 pm at ISU Extension and Outreach - Ida County. In the first session, Slow Cooker Meals, you will explore the benefits of the slow cooker, learn food safety tips and receive meal ideas. In the second session, Cook Now, Enjoy Later, you will discover how planning can reduce stress, save money and provide your family nutritious home-cooked meals. In the third session, Cooking for One or Two, learn strategies to make the most out of cooking for a household of one or two.
