A three part series focused on strategies for using your time, money and skills wisely to save money and prepare nutritious and safe foods.  First part of the series, "Cooking for One or Two" will be held on Thursday, February 20th from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

The IDALS-required topics to be covered include safe handling and storage of pesticides, laws and regulations, personal protective equipment, dollar spot management, control of yellow nutsedge, dealing with dry spot, emerald ash borer update, and an overview of the North Central IPM Center.

The Hamilton County Extension office in Webster City will be offering a workshop on March 4th to discuss turfgrass cultivar performance, present new herbicide and fungicide options and explain new fertility research.

Humboldt County will offer the Certified Handlers Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) Wednesday, March 11, 2020. The course will provide continuing instruction credit for certified handlers. Topics to be covered include safe handling and storage, personal protective equipment, laws and regulations, and secondary containment requirements.
