The original “Is it Whole Grains?” program is based on multistate research that examined how older adults choose whole grain products. Iowa State University and the University of New Hampshire pilot tested this program and found it to be effective in increasing whole grain knowledge and the likelihood of choosing whole grains. Is It Whole Grain? has been revised for adults age 18 and older.
