About ISU Extension and Outreach: Henry County

The Henry County Extension Council, county staff, and ISU Extension and Outreach staff work together to provide research-based learning opportunities for our citizens. Through this partnership, we carry Iowa State University’s land-grant mission across Henry County.

Our vision - is a strong Iowa.

Our mission - is to provide education and build partnerships designed to solve today's problems and prepare for the future. We do this by being everywhere for Iowans. ISU Extension and Outreach serves a 99-county campus, connecting the needs of Iowans with Iowa State University research and resources.

We are committed to bringing you unbiased, research based information that will improve your quality of life.

Some examples of our service to the community are included in our annual Stakeholder Reports. To read the 2018 report on your computer simply click on the link:

In 2018, more than million people directly benefited from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach educational programs. We’re focused on

• Feeding people,
• Keeping them healthy,
• Helping their communities prosper and thrive, and
• Turning the world over to the next generation better than we found it.

We are governed by a nine-member council that is elected by the general public.  If our council or staff can be of service to you, please contact us.
