The Summer 4-H Intern works with the County 4-H Coordinator to plan and implement county 4-H activities, such as Clover Kids Day Camp, County Fair Prep and Activities, Community Outreach, and other special activities. All responsibilities include working with youth, parents and/or volunteers

Annual training is required for private pesticide applicators wanting to re-certify to apply restricted use pesticides.  Certified applicators who do not attend annual training will have to take an exam to re-certify.

Membership on the Hamilton County 4-H Council is open to 4-H’ers who are enrolled in grades 7-12 and have met the necessary points for membership. Points are earned by attending meetings, volunteering, taking on local and county leadership roles, becoming involved in county and state 4-H activities.

Get the tools, skills and strategies to build stronger families in seven sessions!  Youth develop skills to handle stress and peer pressure, parents learn techniques to support their kids and families build positive relationships!  Approved for 12.5 hours of DHS training hours for foster parents.

The purpose of 4-H recordkeeping is to teach how to keep records, which is an important life skill. Recordkeeping is an ongoing process that does not end when the 4-H year ends. Youth are encouraged to select from a variety of alternatives to meet their individual recordkeeping needs and learning styles.
