2018 Summer Day Camps are HERE!

Looking for something fun to do?
We have something for you! Check out this year's day camps presented by ISU Extension & Outreach - Grundy County.
Open to ANY youth completing Kindergarten - Third Grade (do NOT have to be 4H member to attend).
Registration is required as space is limited. Camp is $20.00/Camp. Fee includes snacks & supplies. Please bring a sack lunch. Registrations are due June 7th. (Day Camp Flyer and Registration form)
June 12th 9:00am - 3:00pm Fed by a Farmer - Plants
Have you ever thought about where your food comes from? Learn about soil and plants while getting your hands dirty planting seeds, conducting experiments and investigating different soil types. Hands on activities, experiments and investigate bugs & recycle garbage!
June 14th 9:00am - 3:00pm Progressive Adriculture Safety Day
Participate in a variety of sessions on safety including Sun, Electrical, Fire, chemical and more!
June 19th 9:00am - 3:00pm Fed by a Farmer - Animals
Explore the ins and outs of livestock farming! They will learn what it takes to raise livestock and discover a variety of products and by products that come from animals.
If you are looking for FREE entertainment, join us at the Kling Memorial Library in Grundy Center for their summer program Library Rocks (June 18th, 25th & July 9th 11:00am - 12:00pm.
Also come see us at the Grundy County Fair, July 17th - 22nd, 2018.
