A Hundred Days of Helping

Are You Up To The Challenge?

For its 100-year celebration, Fremont County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is challenging locals to perform Random Acts of Kindness for 100 days, beginning March 20 and ending June 30.
A  Random Act of Kindness (RAK) is a selfless act that benefits someone else without expecting anything in return.   It might be as simple as offering a smile to a stranger, or as complex as organizing a food drive.
A Hundred Days of Helping journals are available at the Fremont County Extension Office, 610 Clay Street in Sidney, or can be downloaded (requires some cut & staple) at:  www.extension.iastate.edu/fremont.   RAK’s can also be recorded on the Fremont County ISU Extension & Outreach Facebook page.
At the end of the challenge, from July 1 through July 31, journals can be brought to the Extension office to collect a small prize!
Fremont County Extension and Outreach will celebrate its Centennial on June 9-10, 2018 in Sidney.
