YQCA - Youth for the Quality Care of Animals

YQCA for those showing animals at the Floyd County Fair:  

 
All beef, sheep, dairy/dairy goat, swine, meat goat, poultry and rabbit fair exhibitors in 4th-12th grades.  This is a requirement to show your animals.  If you don’t get certified —you will not be able to show.  FSQA is no longer valid.  Only YQCA will be accepted.  YQCA is to continually provide a yearly current, peer-reviewed, quality curriculum for youth quality assurance training and certification.  There will be two ways to get your yearly certification.
 
Option 1:  Members may complete an online course for $12 with a credit card.  For more information and how to take the course please go to  https://www.extension.iastate.edu/4h/yqca .  Once you have completed YQCA please send the certificate of completion to the Extension office.
 
Option 2:  Members may come to a face-to-face training for $3 with a credit card.  NO CASH OR CHECK WILL BE ACCEPTED.  YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE TO RECEIVE CREDIT.   For more information and how to complete the registration please go to https://www.extension.iastate.edu/4h/yqca..  Training dates will be Tuesday, April 7,  Thursday, April 9 and Tuesday, April 14 from 6:00-7:00pm.
