Private Pesticide Applicator Trainings

 A private applicator is anyone who applies any restricted-use pesticide for the production of an agricultural commodity on property owned or rented by the applicator or the applicator's employer, or on the property of other agricultural producers with who the applicator trades services. 
One way to renew your certification (recertify) is to attend a private applicator continuing instruction course each of the three years during your renewal cycle.  These trainings will be held in Floyd County the follow dates:

  • Thursday, December 21 at the Floyd County Fairgrounds from 1:30 - 3:30 pm
  • Wednesday, January 10 at the Borlaug Learning Center near Nashua from 9:30 -11:30 am
  • Tuesday, March 13 at the Roseville Church near Marble Rock from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
  • Thursday, April 12 Last Chance - at the Floyd County Extension Office from 9:00 -11:00 am
