Stay Independent: A Healthy Aging Series is a nutrition and wellness program for adults age 60+. It provides information and tips to help aging adults remain healthy and independent.
The program series focuses on four topics:
- Three Meals a Day
- Feast on Fruits and Vegetables
- Power Up with Protein
- Exercise Your Independence
During each session, participants will learn about the health benefits of eating well and moving more, sample healthy, tasty, low-cost recipes, and exchange ideas with peers to help meet health goals.
Classes will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on July 3, July 10, July 17 and July 24 or 31 (final date TBD by the class).
