It’s almost the end of week three for the rising star interns and I am amazed about how fast these weeks have flown by. Between the farm tours, farmers market visits, seminars, and more we are constantly on the move! By the end of each day I am exhausted and asking myself the same question, “So what’s for dinner tonight?” 

Cooking with Herbs

This will be a cooking class featuring easy tips and recipes using fresh herbs, ways to preserve herbs and a hands-on cooking demonstration and tasting.

This will be a hands-on cooking class featuring cooking demonstrations and tastings.  Parents and children will cook together using healthy, kid-friendly, recipes and vegetables.  Pre-register to 712-472-2576 or xlyon@iastate.edu by August 8. $15/family. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
