The 2022 ISU Local Food Festival is September 21 on Central Campus

Join us for this year’s festival on Wednesday, September 21 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.
The Iowa State University Local Food Festival: An Adventure in Eating is an annual celebration of local food and healthy living that takes place each fall on central campus.
Since 2015, ISU Extension and Outreach Farm, Food and Enterprise Development, ISU Dining, ISU’s Live Green! Initiative, and the ISU Sustainable Agriculture Student Association have collaborated to promote local foods, connecting students and staff to producers, organizations, and ISU clubs. The festival aims to educate and exemplify ways of incorporating local products into your daily meals and empower individuals to live a healthy lifestyle and live sustainably.
Swing through central campus on your way to class to visit with ISU clubs, view educational displays, and shop locally grown and produced products from Ames area vendors. Be sure to stop by the various booths giving out free samples using fresh-picked and local products!
