Christa coordinates the small farms and Agricultural Marketing Resource Center (AgMRC) programs. She provides technical assistance to small farmers and acreage owners, outreach and education on value-added agriculture topics, program coordination and promotion of the national Ag Marketing Resource Center. She has launched an Acreage Living newsletter for rural residents and is working on online course development, as well as coordinating updates to the graphics and content of the AgMRC website, www.agmrc.org. Hartsook received her BS in journalism from Iowa State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in agricultural education.
