Statewide Networks

Iowa Farm to School and Early Care Network has a mission to increase access to locally-grown food and food education for children and families by building cross-sector partnerships to advance programs and policies in schools, early care settings, and the food system.

Iowa Food Hub Managers Working Group addresses operating challenges and needs for food hub businesses in Iowa.

Iowa Food System Coalition (IFSC) was formed to chart a course toward a thriving, sustainable, and equitable food system in Iowa.

Iowa Specialty Crop Growers Association (formerly, the Iowa Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association) is the membership organization for producers of fruits, vegetables, and specialty crops in the state.

Local Food and Farm Program Advisory Council, Iowa Department of Ag and Land Stewardship (IDALS) exists to support and advise statewide efforts to increase the availability of locally grown, raised, and produced foods.

Regional Food Systems Working Group brings together food system stakeholders of networking, resource sharing, and collaboration to grow and support community-based food systems.

National Networks

Food Distribution Research Society (FDRS) is the only body of scholars and practitioners in the United States dedicated to the study, monitoring and sharing of knowledge about the dramatic changes that are taking place in the global food system.

National Good Food Network, Wallace Center at Winrock International, works to scale up the supply of good food -- food that is healthy, green, fair and affordable -- into more retail, wholesale, and institutional markets, and provide greater access.

North American Food Systems Network (NAFSN) is a professional association of people working together to strengthen local and regional food systems.

Food Systems Leadership Network is a national peer learning community that connects current and emerging leaders, strengthens individual and collective leadership capacity, and fosters collaboration across communities.

National Farm to School Network is an information, advocacy and networking hub for communities working to bring local food sourcing and food and agriculture education into school systems and early care and education environments.

Regenerative Ag Idea Network (REGAIN), Wallace Center at Winrock International, seeks to connect, inform, and empower educators, advocates, and practitioners working to advance regenerative agriculture in the Upper Midwest and U.S. as a whole.
