Oelwein Students Complete Mindfulness Workshop Series

Once a foundation was created, students deepened their understanding of the benefits of being mindful in their daily lives by learning about a variety of mindfulness strategies. Upon completing the pilot series students could identify areas in their own life in which they can apply mindfulness to improve personal well-being, relationships and performance, reports Kendra Crooks, Iowa 4-H Youth Program Specialist.

Crooks and Michele Kelly, Fayette County Youth Coordinator conducted the six lesson series with appreciation to Mrs. Duff, Oelwein 6th grade Middle School teacher for providing lesson time.
